Scythian culture

The Scythians were nomadic people of Iranian origin who lived on the Eurasian steppe from the eighth to the second centuries BCE. They were known for their military prowess, especially their horsemanship and archery. The Scythians were skilled in mounted warfare, using hit-and-run tactics and composite recurve bows. They were also superb goldsmiths, producing intricate objects for personal adornment, weapons, and horse-trappings. Web resources herehere and here.
